Evidence before money
Exobod is building Desk One (EXB-D1) as an EVT / builder kit path. We do not claim a finished retail robot ships today. Claims climb only with artifacts — see Desk One evidence and the ledger in docs/desk-one/EVIDENCE-LEDGER.md.
What is real today
- 1.Software demo (proven) — /demo drives ReflexCore: gaze, clamp ≤25°/cmd, e-stop latch. Not a physical unit.
- 2.Builder documentation (L2) — BOM, wiring, firmware, and week-1 build notes under
docs/desk-one/. - 3.EVT pilot applications — interest / deposit path opens only after durable order storage and webhook reconciliation are green. No blind full prepayment.
What we do not claim yet
- Finished retail SKU, “ships today,” or certification marks
- BLE / companion pairing out of the box (v0.1 is USB-CDC)
- Walker / Rover / Utility as deliverable products (concept only)
- Hardware joint-limit or e-stop timing until a named serial log exists
- CAD/BOM packs as production evidence until revision EXB-D1-EVT-A is released
Before funds move (target process)
Target lifecycle: inquiry → qualified → quote → signed scope → deposit-cleared → work order → QC-passed → shipped. Quote accept alone must never create a contracted order. Until that gate is enforced in production, treat commercial language as program intent, not a checkout promise.
